One of many gorgeous and intricate books available from Johanna Basford, this complete book is meditative and relaxing for older artists. Creating interesting art of animals, flowers, and paisley designs bring artists into another world of imagination and stress relief.

Instruct them to pull the paper upward, pleating as they go around the pot until all the paper is collected, then affix it with a rubber band or glue.

Not only is this 52-page book filled with hilarious illustrations of animals sipping cocktails (which would be enough of a draw on its own), but the recipes for said cocktails are also included on the page.

While they are a way off mastering colouring inside the lines, our youngest tester really enjoyed colouring in the 23 instantly recognisable characters with an enthusiastic crayon scribble.

Once the items have completely cooled, have the kids affix O-rings or whatever attachments you’re choosing to use to make the keychains.

My coloring pages for kids print out just large enough to serve as wrapping paper for little boxes; or conversely, if you have access to a fancy printer, you could print out the sheets larger.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes my kids just need a new, shiny, never been seen coloring book to get them refocused on art and off their screens.
